Ed Rewucki came to Calgary in 1971 and took over the Chrysler and Dodge dealership - formerly known as Freeman Wilson - it rested on land which is now occupied by the Petro-Canada building. Renamed Tower Chrysler, because of its proximity to the Calgary Tower, it became a strong and customer focused enterprise, which catered to the needs of a growing and thriving Calgary population. With the need for expansion in serving customers, Tower Chrysler was relocated to the edge of southern Calgary in 1976. Calgary is still thriving and the population is still booming. Today, Calgary stretches far south of the dealership and Tower Chrysler now finds itself conveniently located close to hundreds thousands of families and businesses.
Ed has earned many accolades over the years, but most prestigious was the Maclean's Magazine recognition as the Dealer of Excellence in 1996 (voted on by his peers). Ed captured the award by out performing in three important areas - business acumen, association involvement, and community involvement.
Tower Chrysler is a community minded company, supporting individuals, groups and organizations. Tower Chrysler is also a true family business and is the oldest and most respected one-owner DaimlerChrysler dealership in Calgary.
Thirty-two years later Tower Chrysler still towers above the rest!
